Copy

A copier is available for public use. A letter or legal size copy is 10¢ per side for black and white and 25¢ per side for color. The copier accepts coins and $1 bills and gives change in coin only. If you need change for larger bills, visit the Check Out Desk.  Patrons with a library card may use their print account funds to make copies.

Fax

Patrons can send domestic faxes using the self-service SimpleScan station. There is no charge for faxing with this service. We are not able to receive faxes for the public.

Print

Our public printer offers black & white, color and two-sided printing on letter or legal sized paper; ledger paper is also available on request. The Library does not offer additional paper sizes or types and patrons may not insert their own paper. Letter size copies are 10¢ per side for black & white and 25¢ cents per side for color; Legal and Ledger size copies are 20¢ per side for black & white and 50¢ per side for color. The Print Station accepts coins, $1 and $5 bills and gives change in coins only. Change for larger bills is available at the Check Out Desk. Library cardholders may choose to retain unused funds on their card for future use.


Printing from the Library’s Computers
Standard Windows printing options are available within Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Firefox, or specific websites. A pop-up box will confirm the number of pages being printed and the total cost. See our staff for assistance before paying if the number of pages or the total cost does not match your expectations. Print jobs will be available at the Print Station under the same library card number used to log on to the computer.

 

Wireless Printing

Patrons who use the Library’s wireless network can print to the Library’s print station by visiting www.printeron.net/warrenvillepl/webprint. Follow the onscreen prompts to specify a website URL or browse to a file, confirm your printing options and pricing, then send the print job. Be sure to enter your library card number if you have one, or make note of the unique user ID you assign to your print job(s), as you will not be able to retrieve them without it. If you did not enter your library card number as your user ID, you will need to pay cash at the Print Station.

 

View instructions on printing eMails and/or eMail attachments. Please note that the first portion of your email address (to the left of the @ symbol) with automatically be the user ID assigned to your print job. Even if you have a balance on your library card, you will need to pay cash.


The PrinterOn mobile app is available in the Apple and Google Play stores. Be sure to configure the app with your library card number as your account ID; otherwise you will need to pay cash.

Scan

Quick Scan

The Quick Scan to USB feature on our public copier allows you to quickly scan forms, photos and other documents to a file saved on a USB flash drive.

 

SimpleScan

The touchscreen SimpleScan station features both a flatbed and document scanner. Scan documents and photos to your email, USB flash drive, fax, smartphone, Dropbox or Google Drive; you can scan documents as images or using OCR to produce editable text documents. See our staff for basic assistance. Purchase a USB flash drive at the Check Out Desk.
