The Library is home to a host of cool devices and other tech toys that we can't wait to share with you. Each month, Tech Club will test out some of these as we explore a different theme. In September, we will try out the greenscreen, the selfie stick and the smartphone lenses for our Photo and Video theme. In October, our theme will be Making, and we'll build and invent with the Snap Circuits, the Little Bits and the Makey Makey. Finally, November's theme will be Tablet Fun, where our giant Nabi Dreamtab and Osmo set will transform tablets into collaborative tools for learning and fun. Young readers in Kindergarten through second grade build their confidence by reading aloud to a certified dog in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. Call 630/393-1171 x100 to sign up for a 15-minute session with a certified dog and volunteer team from the Naperville Area Humane Society. Bring your own books or choose from a wide variety of picture books and easy readers all about pets. Young readers will take home a host of goodies, including stickers, coloring pages and a new book that is theirs to keep.

Find out what your stuffed animals do at a sleepover. Bring a teddy bear or other stuffed animal to the Library for a fun sleepover on Friday, November 13. Pick your stuffed friend up on Saturday, November 14 and receive a picture of what they did during their sleepover. Be sure to bring a stuffed friend that will not be missed for a night.
