Young readers in Kindergarten through second grade build their confidence by reading aloud to a certified dog in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. Sign up for a 15-minute session with a certified dog and volunteer team from the Naperville Area Humane Society. NAHS supplies the books which all contain humane themes such as kindness, empathy and compassion. Children also receive bookmarks, stickers and coloring sheets from the dog. Registration required. Movie Poster Display & Saturday Movie Matinee

Take a few minutes to visit with film art enthusiast and poster collector Bill Brandeis. Bill will have several posters from his personal collection on display in the Library’s main lobby.
On Saturday, the following movies will be shown in the Hudetz Family Meeting Room. No registration required. Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
