Lives Change @ Your Library
Celebrate National Library Week April 13-19

First celebrated in 1958, National Library Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. The Library offers valuable resources that change people’s lives every day, including language learning resources, public computer access, databases for job searches and homework help. During National Library Week, stop by the Library for a sweet treat and tell us how the Library has changed your life. Help change someone’s life by participating in the Community Blood Drive or in one of the Library’s year-round activities.

Free Comic Book Day
Saturday, May 3, All Ages

Free Comic Book Day is a day when participating comic book shops, libraries and schools across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores. The Library will have comic books available for all ages – kids, teens and adults. Be sure to stop by the Information Desk and pick up your free comic book while supplies last.

Self-Check is Here!

Our new self-checkout station is now available near the upper-level entrance. Self-check offers a quick, private, self-service option; however, staff is always available to those who prefer personal service or need assistance.

“Beyond Dust Jackets” Blog

Our new blog, “Beyond Dust Jackets,” presents some of our opinions about specific books, music, movies and TV series. We hope you’ll discover some new materials to read, view or listen to. And we hope you’ll share your comments on our posts. To view the blog, click here or go to "Blog" under the "Reading" tab at the top of each page. All featured titles are available for check-out at the Library.
