Marketing & Communications Specialist (view job description)
Part-time, 20 hours per week (Days, Evenings & Weekends)
Warrenville Public Library District seeks a self-starter with a passion for promotion. This new position is responsible for creating a buzz about our programs and services by connecting with the community. The position also has some event-specific programming and outreach responsibilities. In addition to strong communication skills and creativity, we’re looking for someone who excels at event and project management, especially planning and organizing various tasks, then carrying them through to a successful outcome.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (for example: marketing, communications, journalism).
- Excellence in written and verbal communication.
- Experience with social media and traditional media.
- Project and event management experience.
Salary from $20.68/hour dependent on experience & qualifications.
