Youth & Young Adult Librarian
(Part–time, 32 hours per week)
Warrenville Public Library District is seeking an energetic, innovative and creative individual to work part–time in a friendly, patron–focused environment. Essential duties include reference and readers advisory, collection selection and maintenance, promoting and conducting programming, and cooperation with schools and community agencies. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team. Schedule includes days, evenings and weekends. Requirements: ALA accredited MLS degree plus one year successful experience providing library services, including programming, to "tweens" and teens. Ability to communicate in Spanish highly desirable. Salary from $17 per hour dependent on experience & qualifications.
